We probably all have heard now of the tragic passing of NHRA driver Scott Kalitta. Yesterday during the fourth and final round of qualifying for a NHRL drag event in Englishtown his car burst into flames at over 300 MPH causing him to careen into a concrete wall at the end of the track ending his racing life. Most of us probably dont watch NHRA (like myself) but for me whenever a driver dies in the racing community doing what he loves to do it always hits me hard.

Warning the video below is of a mans death, respect that.

Even tough Im not a fan of dragster, when any race car driver dies its sad. I was wondering who Carl was tslking about and then they switch to NHRA then I realize who he was talking about.
