We probably all have heard now of the tragic passing of NHRA driver Scott Kalitta. Yesterday during the fourth and final round of qualifying for a NHRL drag event in Englishtown his car burst into flames at over 300 MPH causing him to careen into a concrete wall at the end of the track ending his racing life. Most of us probably dont watch NHRA (like myself) but for me whenever a driver dies in the racing community doing what he loves to do it always hits me hard.
